Monkey Head was a pure treasure today. When we started the dive there was a wicked current and as we descending there was a cloud of plankton rich water the first twenty feet and then it cleared to a beautiful blue. We saw eagle rays everywhere. And then this school of around twenty eagle rays approached us and there amongst all of the action was a huge olive ridley turtle getting a cleaning. He was hoping we would not notice him during the rush of rays and all of the fish. But as you can see in the video…I got really excited when I was trying to get everyone’s attention. Love the surprises we see while diving in the Gulf of Papagayo, Costa Rica. Monkey Head or Cabeza del Mono is one of our many awesome local dive sites situated at the opening of the Snake Bay. Beautiful day of diving!
