A day of diving at Shark Alley at Catalina Islands in Costa Rica is a must. It is advance diving…so you need to have a bit of experience and be comfortable in the water. This dive is at La Pared on the main island and we call this part of the dive Shark Alley. It is a shallow part of the dive…like 40ft. Depending on the surge…we sometimes can not go in there…The surge can be very strong pulling you in and trying to pull you back. So you have to hold a rock and kick to stay in place when the surge is pulling you back and then relax and enjoy the ride as the surge pulls you in. I love looking up as the water is crashing above us….Scuba diving is a fun adventure 🙂 These dive sites are a 30-45 minute boat ride from Playa del Coco.
