Bajo Negro (Black Rock), one of our advanced dive sites located at Bat Islands (Isla Murcielagos) in the Gulf of Papagayo is one of many divers favorites. Bajo Negro is a pinnacle barely sticking out of the water with a steep wall and depths to over 100ft. Great place to see the pacific manta rays, schools of eagle rays and many types of fish including barracuda, dorado, sailfish and roosterfish. These white-tip reef sharks were in a hurry as they swam down off of the wall into the depths. Diving the Gulf of Papagayo in Costa Rica is an adventure.
